Texan Salsa


  • 3 15oz. Cans of Stewed or Diced Tomatoes

  • 1/2 Bunch of Fresh Cilantro

  • 1/2C Onion (Chopped)

  • 2T Minced Garlic

  • 2 Fresh Jalapenos (Diced; to reduce heat, seed them as well)

  • Salt and Pepper to Taste


  1. Drain one can of Tomatoes in a blender with all other ingredients.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Add two remaining cans of Tomatoes and blend lightly, to maintain chunkiness.

  4. For best results, let stand overnight before serving.
