Never Fail Sugar Cookies

Cook Time: 8 Minutes


  • Dry Mix

  • 3C Flour (Sifted)
  • 1C Sugar
  • 1t Baking Soda
  • 1/2t Baking Powder

  • 1 1/4 Butter-Flavored Crisco
  • Wet Mix

  • 3T Milk
  • 2 Eggs (Beaten)

  • 1t Vanilla


  1. Mix together the Dry Mix ingredients with a a pastry blender (mixture will be crumbly).
  2. Add Wet Mix and mix together (you may need to use your hands).
  3. Chill in refrigerator.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  5. Afer chilling, roll out (1/4 inch thick) with a rolling pin onto a lightly floured surface.
  6. Use cookie cutters to make desired shapes.
  7. Transfer to ungreased cookie sheet until the tops are no longer shiny and edges are barely brown (about 8 minutes).
  8. Cool on wire rack and frost.
