Chocolate Raspberry Bars

Serves: 18-24

  • 1 1/2C Flour

  • 1C Brown Sugar (Packed)

  • 1t Baking Powder
  • 1C Butter (Melted)
  • 1 1/2C Quick-Cooking Oats

  • 2 Chocolate Bars (Rough Chopped)
  • 9-12 oz. Raspberry Preserves


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix Flour, Brown Sugar and Baking Powder.
  3. Add Butter and mix thoroughly.
  4. Add Oats and mix well.
  5. Press mixture into bottom of the bowl and cut down the center for two portions.
  6. Take one portion and press it firmly into a buttered 13"x9" baking pan.
  7. Spoon Preserves onto pressed layer and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle Chocolate evenly over Preserves.
  9. Sprinkle evenly with second portion of the pressed layer.
  10. Bake 30 Minutes.
  11. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack. Serve.
